“No Hint Given Of Approval” fN.Z Press Association—Copyright/ AUCKLAND, November 19. The solicitors for the Tasman Pulp and Paper Company said today that Sir James Fletcher at no time hinted that Stock Exchange approval had been obtained for the amended articles of association admitting the Bowater organisation to the company. He said only that the company had taken great pains to endeavour to satisfy Stock Exchange requirements. Before adopting the new ar tides of association yesterday the meeting of shareholders approved the issue to Bowaters and the Government of new share capital.
