Midnight Sittings From Next Week

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 2. Members of the House of Representatives will, till the end of the session, sit extended hours as from next Tuesday when the adjournment will be taken at midnight instead of at the normal time of 10.30 p.m. A formal motion by the Prime Minister (Mr Nash) was submitted tonight before the adjournment. The extended hours apply to the Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday of each week till the session ends. Friday sittings will begin at 9.30 a.m. and end at 4.30 p.m. and remain unaltered.
