Rich New Gold Strike
DARWIN. September 4
Residents of Tennant Creek, near Australia’s geographic centre, are looking forward to the biggest boom in the town's 30year history. Official sources here have confirmed the discovery of rich gold, assaying to 4oz to the ton, in a new prospect owned by Peko Mines.
