AUCKLAND. June 14. The Thames Trotting Club’s winter meeting was held in showery weather on Saturday. The track was heavy. The winning double. Silver Wings and Scarlet Earl, paid £127 7s for £ 1. The totalisator on-course handled £18.579 10s, including £1872 on the double, compared with £22.012 last year.
