The Totalisator Agency Board on Saturday handled a total of £315,898 ss, made up of win and place bets amounting to £159,797 10s, and £156,100 15s invested on doubles. Totals for individual meetings with off-course substitutes were Manawatu: £104,661 5s (Yorker). Addington: £52,758 10s (Ceremonial). Oamaru: £38,170 5s (Cashmere). Thames: £22,205 (none required). Waipa: £98,103 5s (Sir Goodwin).
