N.Z. Junior Tourney At Dannevirke
(New Zeatana Press Association > DANNEVIRKE, Jan. 22. Highlights in the New Zealand junior croquet championships at Dannevirke today were matches between Mesdames O’Brien (Dannevirke) and Kendall (Waverley) in the singles and Mesdames McLeod (Dannevirke) and Denley (Ashburton) in the handicap singles. The championship singles match resulted in a 26-24 win to Mrs O’Brien, and Mrs McLeod beat Mrs Denley, 26-25 in a further elimination match
Doctor’s Bag Missing.—No trace has been found of the bag containing surgical instruments and dangerous drugs which was taken from a doctor’s car outside the United Tennis Club last week. The Police are still anxious to find anyone who can help them in thia matter.
