Diversion During Sewer Work

Passengers on the No. 18 bus route between Cathedral square and the Mays road terminus wiU find yet another diversion on Wed-, nesday morning' when HawkesJoury avenue, 'St. Albans, will be closed for drainage work to be carried out. The street js likely to be. closed for two weeks, according to a Christchurch Transport Board spokesman yesterday.

Buses on the Bretts road section of the route will run from St. Albans street through Browns road. Buses routed through Rutland street will turn into the street from St. Albans street. Somme street, already closed for drainage works, will stay closed for &he time being.
