Sir, —“Jersey” has asked, why cannot we get good milk to skim cream from? In answer, Mr N. S. H. McCann, defending his own! company’s product, does not' satisfy “Jersey’s’’ question of fat! content. Does he presume to[ know all the qualities of the milk' when most producers were vend- ■ ir.g. which is what “Jersey.” myself and many others are in-' forested in. Although the Christ-i church Milk Company’s supply is, now showing improvement in I health standards owing to the elimination of T.B. by Government action. I have still to learn that the quality has improved over the last three years. Mr> McCann cannot deny that, at that! time, the milk was substandard. 1 both in solids not fat and fat.
