SPEECH CONFERENCE
The conference of the New Zealand Speech Therapists’ Association will conynence at the Christchurch Teachers’ College next Wednesday. More than 40 delegates from speech clinics throughout the Dominion will be present. Representatives of the medical neurological, psychological, and pediatric professions will also attend, as well as officers of the Child Welfare and Vocational Guidance Departments. The subject of the conference will be cerebral palsy. Several sessions will be conducted at the Christchurch Cerebal Palsy School, which is the first of its kind in New Zealand. A panel of speakers will present papers. Mr L. G. Amos, the DeputyMayor of Christchurch, will open the conference.
