Wins For Opawa And Papanui -_ The „ two Eames decided on the Mona Vale green on Saturday in the ehampion fours were both very onesided. In the game between Opawa and Linwood, Opawa went to a good lead of 11-1 on the sixth head. Linwood then held Opawa from heavy scoring over the next seven heads while it improved its own position to be 13-11 down on the thirteenth nead. Opawa then took complete command, and over the next six heads scored 13 to Linwood’s two to win the game on the nineteenth .lead, 26-14. Burwood held Papanui to low scoring, and on the eleventh head' was only 8-10 down. On the next two heads it scored a four and a two to lead 14-10 after 13 heads, but Burwood did not score again, while Papanui increased its total to 25. Results were H. Wall, C. Smith, R. Bond, and C. Manning (Papanui) 25, G. Whyte, M. Lemond, A. Begg, and E. Booth (Burwood) 14; J. Stoddart, S. Barlow, F. Baxandall, and C. Rowe (Opawa) 28, Simpson, Ellis, R. Craig, and W. Cogswell (Linwood) 13.
