Mr Abdullah Khalil, secretarygeneral of the Umma Party, which topped the poll in the recent Sudanese elections, has been re-elected Prime Minister by the House of Representatives. Mr Khalil is expected to form a coalition Cabinet from his proWestern Umma Party, its allied People’s Democratic Party and the Southern Liberals.
