The newspaper Iso warned of a risk tha* the Americans might unload their own butter stocks, just as Nev Maland was preparing an export trade of butter to Asian countries. The Blanchester Guardian” referred to New Zealand’s announcement in January of import -J--stnetions and added: “ • the same month Mr Macmi. i visited New Zealand and when greeted with more fierce criticism of dumping of butter in Britain he replied with honeyed words, saying that New Zealand seemd to have a good case for inv" , ' i ng the British antidumping laws. . “He spoke like a man/ who had been surprise to- discover, some horrible thing in his house or business. s “One again both 'Jew Zealand and Denmar’- have complained, especially ag Swedei.,” *he newspaper said. et still there is no sign of anything being - done about the matter. “New Z ’v" are fee *ng baffled, angry and helpless.
