Smoking and Drinking Costs.— A cigarette and a glass of wine now cost more in Spain after an authorised price increase. Spain still has probably the cheapest smoke and glass of wine in Europe. The price of 20 American style Bisonte cigarettes has been raised from ’s to Is 4d. The smoke of the htimble citizen, the Peninsulares cigarettes, which cost only! 5d for 20. remains unchanged. A| glass of wine has been raised to lid and the small glass to ?d A glass of vermouth now costs 3d.— Madrid.
