Heart Surgeon To Lecture In N.Z.
(New Zealand Press Association) ■ AUCKLAND. October 21. ! Sir Russell Brock, reputed tot be one of the top heart surgeons in the world, arrived at Auckland' by air from Sydney tonight. Invited to New Zealand by the post-graduate committees of Auckland and Dunedin. Sir Russell Brock, who is bringing much of his own operating equipment from Guy’s Hospital, London, will do clinical work and address surgeons and doctors at Auckland. He will demonstrate the latest developments in heart surgery. Sir Russell and Lady Brock will spend two weeks in the Dominion, and will stay three or four days in both Auckland and Dunedin. They will also do some sightseeing. Sir Russell Brock will celebrate • his 54th birthday on Thursday.
