The following officers were elected at the third annual meeting of the Canterbury district of Country Girls’ Clubs: president. Miss M. Pearce (Ellesmere); vicepresident, Miss F. Moir (Lincoln); secretary, Miss G. Johns (Amuri); treasurer, Miss A. Johns (Amuri); co-opted members, Mrs A. Wood (Lincoln), Miss M. Robinson (Ohoka), Miss E. Jackson (Ohoka), Miss N. Redmond (Darfield), Miss M. O’Brien (Ellesmere), Mrs L. Bennett (Christchurch), Miss J. Earl (Hawarden-Waikari); delegates to Canterbury Council of Y.F.C., president and secretary; delegates to Christchurch Y.F.C. district committee, president and vice-president; delegates to North Canterbury Y.F.C. district committee, secretary and treasurer; sub-committee, president, vicepresident, secretary, treasurer, immediate past president, Miss P. Robinson (Ohoka), Miss F. Horne (Oxford) and Miss P. Jenkins (Sheffield).
