Smoking In Restaurants
Sir,—ln a quick-lunch parlour recently one out of every four women was smoking—a cigarette in the left hand and a cup of tea in the right. How sorry one feels for these poor things who are in bondage to the filthy habil. It is time proprietors of all restaurants
had a notice on the wall of their premises: “No smoking here.”— Yours, etc., CLEAR AIR. April 12, 1957.
