The Postman’s Whistle
Sir, —Could something be done to relieve our tired postman? I would suggest an assistant to accompany each roundsman to blow the whistle for him. By the. time the assistant became a fullyfledged postman he should have acquired the whistling /iabit and so qualify for a postman’s degree.—Yours, etc., E.G.K. April 14, 1957.
