"The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND, January 17. The double at the Franklin Racing Club s summer meeting at Pukekohe on Saturday will be the Fred Hosking Handicap and the Pokeno Handicap. The Takanini mare. Belle Rosa, an early favourite for the Pokeno Handicap, the second leg of the double, may not run. Belle Rosa developed a filling in her off foreleg after she had worked yesterday, and she did not attend the track this morning. King Farouk is shin sore and unlikely to contest the first division of the Mercer Plate. According to her owner-trainer. Captain E.
