MR JUSTICE TYNDALL

RETURN TO N.Z. FROM LEAVE (New Zealand Press Association)) AUCKLAND. August 17. Disappointed at haying to cut bir leave short by a month, and c«icerned by the recent dispute oyU the membership of the Arbitration* Court, Mr Justice Tyndall, Judge of the Court, returned to Auckland by Pan-American Airways plane today. He was vice-chairman of a conference of experts called by the International Labour Organisation to discuss industrial and human relations. Mr Justice Tyndall said that Lady Tyndall was still in England. He had a full year last year, with the chairmanship of the Monetary Commission, and with keeping the Arbitration Court going at the same time. “I was due for some leave, and one is not getting any younger,” he said. Mr Justice Tyndall left New Zealand on June 15 to attend the 1.L.0. Conference. He said he knew few details of the refusal by the New Zealand Federation of Labour to proceed with outstanding disputes while Judge Stillwell presided over the Court.
