PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
Presbyterian women from many parts of New Zealand will meet in Christchurch for the triennial conference of the Presbyterian Women’s Fellowship, which will be held at Rangi-ruru School from August 22 to 24. About 40 representatives will be in residence for the conference and others will attend daily sessions. On Thursday evening. Dr. J. D. Salmond, convener of the international relations committee of the General Assembly will be the speaker at an open meeting at Knox Church Hall. His subject will be “Internationalism as it Affects the Church in New Zealand.” Mrs W. H. Bowen presided at the August meeting of the Redcliffs-Sum-ner Garden Club. Results of competitions were: posy, class A, Mrs D Blackwell 1, Mrs A. B. Cullins 2, Mrs L. E. Smith and Mrs G. Eames equal 3; class B. Mrs J. S. Shimmin 1, Mrs F. S. Hodson 2, Mrs S. W.
