They are: To meet the Queen when she reviews the V.C.’s in Hyde Park on June 26. To attend the reunions of former prisoners of war from his old camps. Colditz and Caserta. To buy his youngest daughter “an English pram with a hood.” Captain Upham, aged 48, is in England to attend the Celebrations to mark the centenary of the foundation of the Victoria Cross. Mrs Upham said today that she also had some shopping to do in London. “I have to find some horses for the other children—wooden ones, of course,” she said.
