Cause Of Explosion

At Nicosia NICOSIA, March 6. The British Hermes airliner which blew up at Nicosia Airport on Sunday night was sabotaged, the Director of Civil Aviation in Cyprus said today. A time-bomb had been placed in the luggage compartment of the fuselage, a Government statement said. The airliner exploded and burst into flames as it was being refuelled a few minutes 67 Britons, mostly servicemen w and their families, were due to board it. No-one was injured.
