ROYAL CHILDREN AT A HUNT
Sir,—The indignant “L.S’s” of this world encourage me to hunt. They smugly claim to be “the few,’ ’and set themselves up to dictate that others shall not be permitted to do this, that or the other thing. Let “L.S.” disagree with fox hunting if he likes, but I see nothing Christian in his endeavour to sool a pack of advisers on to our Queen, so that her children cannot have a day at a hunt with that most gracious lady, their grandmother. “L.S.” is obviously a huntsman of bigger game than foxes, but lacks the knowledge to realise that hounds only hunt w'ell when they have confidence in their master. Leaders of character will be developed by knowing the world as it is, having a Christian education so that they can make their own
good decisions, and not be influenced by advisers advised by anonymous correspondents.—Yours, etc., ’WARE RABBIT. January 24, 1956.
