Formosa “Fraught With Danger”

(Rec. 11 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO. June 25. The Soviet Foreign Minister (Mr Molotov) said today that the situation in the Formosa area was “fraught with danger of a military character.” He told correspondents that he believed the proposal by Mr Chou Enlai, the Communist Prime Minister, for talks with the United States was of “great importance.” “Such talks will be useful in the interests of consolidating peace, which all nations desire,” he said.
