HER MAJESTY’S REPLY TO N.Z. CORPS

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 7. A message was received from the Queen today thanking the Corps of Royal New Zealand Engineers for its greetings on the occasion of the celebration of her birthday. ’ Her Majesty, who is Colonel-in-Chief of the corps, said in a message to the Colonel Commandant (Colonel R. Trevor-Smith) and the Chief Engineer (Lieutenant-Colonel A. R. Currie):— “I sincerely thank all ranks of the Corps of Royal New Zealand Engineers for their kind message of loyal greetings on the celebration of my birthday in New Zealand.”
