FOOTBALL REPRESENTATIVES
Sir, —It appears that to Hhve a chance of representing the province Rugby Union players must belong to one of the top five teams. As a close follower of club games this season (not only Lancaster Park games), I think that there are some men in the lower teams well worth a trial. In forward play, two teams in particular, Belfast and New Brighton, compared more than favourably with the competition leaders, Christchurch.— Yours, etc., OLD BLUE. Juns 2. 1834. . j
