THE FAMILY UNIT
Sir,—So “New Age” would ration the family unit. Before “New Age” starts interfering with parents’ rights (God given rights, as most of our good laws are from the Ten Commandments) let her get a copy of statistics of illegitimate births in New Zealand for a year. It will shock her. Birth control doesn’t sound as bad as abortion and abortion doesn’t sound as bad as murder. Murder it is when an innocent Hfe is killed in its mother’s womb; it has no means of defence, natural or scientific. We are exhorted to save lives on roads, beaches, etc. Thousands of pounds are spent on advertising slogans. How much is spent to stop abortion? “New Age” won’t need to worry about overpopulation, as scientists have a little baby called “atomic bomb,” which can wipe out whole nations in the near future; and the future is tomorrow or the next day.—Yours, etc., T MOTHER OF FOUR.
