Farmers as Patrons of Arts

Vitaliano. professor of geology at the University of North Carolina, who is completing nine months in the Dominion on a Fulbright scholarship. He suggested that this section of the community might be persuaded to become principal patrons of the arts in New Zealand. The fact that sheep farmers usually send their children to the higher class boarding schools might be one explanation.
