A motion of sympathy with the relatives of Mr M. E. Lyons was passed at a meeting of the Papanui High School board of governors yesterday. The chairman (Mr F. L. Drury) said that Mr Lyons had taken a keen interest in education, particularly in the Christchurch Technical College and the Papanui High School. A letter of sympathy will be sent to Mrs Lyons.
