BILLY GRAHAM
Sir, —“Rationalist” thinks Billy Graham has a religious mania. May I remind him of men who have won thousands of souls in the past— Sankey, Moody, Billy Sunday and many others. Reports from ministers in Glasgow tell of the blessings that have come from these meetings—criminals delivered from lives of crime, couples reunited, wrecked homes restored, and better relationship between masters and rtien, to mention a few. Tentative plans have been made for Billy Graham to return to New York for a crusade when this five months tour is finished. Every two or three generations God lays His hand on some man; and He has laid His hand on Billy Graham this time.
I am sure even “Rationalist” will agree that we can do with more men who can lead us to the light and away from talk of hatred and threats of atomic bombs.—Yours, etc., SAVED. May 26, 1955-
