INDECENT ASSAULT
ACCUSED SENTENCED TO YEAR’S IMPRISONMENT (New Zealand Press Association) ROTORUA, November 3. Kenneth Walton Gibson, aged 29, a plumber’s labourer, married, of Rotorua, who admitted two charges of indecently assaulting two young girls, was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment by Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M.. in the Rotorua Magistrate’s Court yesterday. The Magistrate said that the offences were serious. Gibson, who had control of children, had taken advantage of his position.
