BUSINESS WOMEN’S CLUB

The formation of a new club at Masterton was announced at a meeting' of the Christchurch Federated Business and Professional Women’s Club, It was decided to send a congratulatory message to the first meeting of the club. The president (Miss K. Moore) reported that the members of a subcommittee had now completed their survey of the place of women in public office. This survey is being made by the various clubs of the New Zealand federation. A talk on the United Nations work of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women was given by Miss Daphne Chapman, chairman of the United Nations Association. ,
