WAR AMPUTEES ELECT OFFICERS
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, March 24. Colonel C. E. Butcher, of Wellington, was unanimously elected president of the New Zealand War Amputees’ Association when delegates met this morning. He was also re-elected as the association’s representative on the Disabled Servicemen’s Re-estab-lishment League. Other officers elected were: vicepresident, Mr F. Thompson (Wellington); executive, Messrs J. Southward (Auckland), H. G. Garrett (Wellington), E. A. Robinson (CanterburyWestland), and G. L. Leary (OtagoSouthland); honorary secretary, Mrs I. F. Land (Wellington); honorary treasurer Mr, W. M. F. Williams (Wellington); publicity officer, Mr W. V. Land (Wellington).
