PRESBYTERIAN SOCIAL SERVICE WORK

ASSOCIATION TO HAVE NEW OFFICES

The Presbyterian Social Service Association will, early next year, use the top floor of the Canterbury Manufacturers* Association building, in Cambridge terrace, for its departmental work. The church had long felt the need for suitable premises in Christchurch to carry out its departmental work, said the publicity convener of the church (the Rev. D~ G. Shaw) yesterday. On January 10, the floor will become the offices of the association, under the direction of the Rev. T. G. Campbell; the church’s youth office, under its director (the Rev. W. M. Hendrie); and the “Outlook,” the fortnightly publication of the church, edited by the Rev. A. M. Richards. There will also be a board room for general work. Until January 10, the association will continue to use offices in Lichfield street.
