SCOTLAND DRAWS WITH AUSTRALIA
LONDON, September 16. Scottish cricketers drew with th* Australians at Paisley today. Th* Australians, after batting 245 minutes, declared in their first innings with nine for 377 at tea, and Scotland replied with three for 100. Rain washed out play yesterday. The Scottish bowling, which included the Oxford University I** spinner, Jimmy Allan, was up to English county standard, and the fieldin* was excellent Allan had a good spell after lunch, taking three for 11. His innings figures were three for 82. The opening batsman, Ron Chisholm, was 55 not out at stumps. Morris scored 101. and Benaud scored 89 in 66 minutes. Scores:— AUSTRALIA
