Seixas, Richardson, And Clark (Rec. 12.10 a.m.) NEW YORK. Oct 22. Victor Seixas. Hamilton Richardson and Straight Clark will represent the United States in the Davis Cup interzone final in Australia, beginning on December 18, the United State, Lawn Tennis Association announced last night the "New York Times” said these three men would probably defeat the winner of the European zone final (Italy or India), but were likely to furnish the weakest challenge round opposition in years to the Australians. Dick Savitt, America's second ranked nlayer, announced that he would not be available for the Davis Cup thia year. Tony Trabert, ranked third, is serving in the Navy, and Herbert Flam, the fourth ranked player, Is waiting for his national call-up. The association said there was a chance another player might be added to the team if it reached the challenge round.

Seixas is ranked first in the United States, but Richardson is ranked only ninth, and Clark eleventh. Most New York sports writers concede only Seixas a chance of beating either Frank Sedgman or Ken McGregor, of Australia.
