DUKE TO HOLD INVESTITURES

LONDON, February 20. The Duke of Gloucester, on behalf of the Queen, will hold investitures at Buckingham Palace on March 5, 12, 19, and 26. About 250 people will be summoned to each.

The Queen has already announced that she will hold her first investiture on February 27. Buckingham Palace stated to-day that the arrangements for these investitures had already been made before the King’s death, because he was to have left on his health trip to Africa on*Maroh 10 and would not have been able to officiate. The arrangements still stand.
