OBITUARY

MRS E. A. M. LUXFORD (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 14. Mrs Emma Allen Mansfield Luxford, widow of the Rev. John A. Luxford, died at her home in Remuera to-day. She was 94. Mrs Luxford was a descendant of early Wesleyan missionaries. Her father was the Rev. John Aldridge. She was born in Christchurch, and was married in 1880. Her husband was chaplain to the New Zealand forces on Gallinoli. He died in *921 from the effects of wounds he received at the landing. Mrs Lux-fo»-'1 lived in Remuera for 32 years. She is survived bv two daughters and two sons. There are eight p*andrhildren and four great-grandchildren.
