N.Z. TEAM ARRIVES IN BRITAIN
FIRST MATCH AGAINST ROCHDALE

Twenty-four hours after arriving in England the New Zealand Rugby League touring team announced the names of 17 players from whom they will choose the side to oppose Rochdale in the opening match on Tuesday. Selected players are: White. Hough, Baxter, Robertson, Forrest or Sorensen, Menzies or Dodd, Barchard, Johnson, Davidson or Blanchard, English, Mcßride, Richards-Jolley or Burgoyne, Mulcare. The players will attend a civic reception at their llkley headquarters to-mor-row. They did light training on the local sports ground to-day. The team manager (Mr D. A. Wilkie) said they were in good shape. They did as much training as possible on the trip, although there was insufficient space for running.
It was possible the team might play in America on the return trip, Mr Wilkie said.
