(Rec. 8 p.m.) PARIS, September 11. The biggest post-war Allied army md sir manoeuvres Will begin in Ger»any on September 14. The exercise, given the code name rf‘‘counterthrust’ r will Show tne North Atlantic Military Alliance-tn action for the first, time since General Eu>eilhewer set up his supreme command. Mock battles lasting 10 days will involve more than 100.000 troops, 20 squadrons of aircraft, and an estimated 20,000 German civilians, who will be dealing with communications And other duties. . Most of the forces’ armour and ffiipment will be provided by BrL 4
