Fined for Theft—William Davies, aged 29, a seaman in the overseas ship Ivybank, pleaded guilty in the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court yesterday, before Messrs W. T. Lester and F. H. Heal, Justices of the Peace, to stealing an overcoat. a torch, and a pair of gloves, of a total value of £4 Is. the property of Frederick Ernest Albert Dreaver, a ship's watchman. He was convicted and fined £3.
