GRASS TRACK RACES AT HALSWELL

The veteran Christchurch motor-cyclist. A. Lamport, equalled the track record at the Tai Tapu Motor Club’s opening meeting of the season on a quarter-mile grass track at the Halswell Domain on Saturday Others who rode well were T. McCleary and J. Brldson. and several riders used speedway machines on the track with varying degrees of success There were about 1000 people present.
