STUDENTS’ APPLICATIONS AT AUCKLAND (New Zealand Press Association)

AUCKLAND. September 10. University students who do not appear in support of their applications for postponement of compulsory military training service will have their applications dismissed by the No. 2 Military Service Postponement Committee. This was announced by the chairman (Mr F. J. Cox) at a sitting in Auckland this morning. “All students must attend to produce their evidence,” he said. Of 76 cases set down for to-day only 12 were heard, the remainder not appearing. Most of those heard were dismissed.
