THIRD ANNUAL BALL

CHRISTCHURCH MARCHING ASSOCIATION

The third annual ball of the Christchurch Marching Association was held in the Winter Garden last evening. About 450 guests and representatives from all teams in the association were present with the patron (Sir Ernest Andrews) and Lady Andrews as their guests of honour. Members of the committee were Mrs S. Marshall (assistant secretary), Mrs E. W. Clarke, Miss J. Butler, Miss H. Cummock, Miss H. Gray, Miss M. McDonald, Messrs A. W. Fergus (president), A. Duncan (vice-president), T. N. Neate (secretary), R. Forscutt. K. Marriott, S. Marshall, B. Mummery, B, Muir, B. R. White, L, Kneale, and G. Nankiville.
