MRS G. CRAIG
The death has occurred in Sydney of Mrs Teresa Imelda Craig, widow of Dr. George Craig, who was formerly Comptroller of Customs in Wellington Dr. and Mrs Craig were well-known residents of Talavera terrace for many years. Their three daughters, Drs. (“Tessie") Thompson and Florence Craig, and Miss Nessie Craig, lost their lives during the Japanese invasion of Malaya, where all three gave heroic service with nursing and medical units. Dr. and Mrs Craig made their home in Sydney some years ago, where Dr. Craig died in 1946.
Mr S. J Moran, of Wellington, is a brother of Mrs Craig.
