ROYAL WEDDING IN GERMANY
Royal guests from all over Europe will assemble in Hanover on September 4 to see the wedding of Ernest Auguste, hereditary Prince of Hanover and great-great-grandson of Queen Victoria. He also holds the title of Prince of Britain, Hanover and Ireland—a title held by his family since Britain was ruled by the House of Hanover.
All male members of the family claim the right to use the “Prince of Britain” title, but- most of them refrain from doing so on advice of the head of the family, the Duke of Brunswick, who said it would “embarrass the British nobility.” The bride will be Princess Ortrud of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp. Royal guests will include the bridegroom's sister, Queen Frederika of Greece, King Paul of Greece, and the Duchess of Kent,
