(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright)
(Rec. 8.30 p.m.) SYDNEY. June «. Riverina scored a surprise win over France in a Rugby League match played at Albury to-day. The score of 20 to 10 represented the merits of the teams. France gave a disappointing display, but the French players seemed bewildered at the referee's rulings. Riverina scored three penalties in the first three minutes and led 13-5 at halftime.
