THE HOB INJURED IN FLOAT

The Hob was injured in his float when he was being brought from Mosgiel to race at the Banks Peninsula meeting on Saturday, and he was scratched for the Kinloch Handicap. His stablemate. Prawns, which was also to race at the meeting, was scratched for the Peninsula Handicap. Both horses were taken back to Mosgiel on Saturday. OWNER FINED Mrs J. Dennis, the owner of Leeston, was fined £2 for not registering her racing colours, and £2 for failing to confirm nominations at the Banks Penjnsula Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday. Leeston won the Terawera Hack Hurdles.
