The Waikato Trotting Club’s winter meeting will be concluded at Claudelands to-day, when the track, although soft, should be in better order than on the first day. The double will be on the Winter Handicap and the Railway Handicap. As the southern trainer. J. B. Pringle, has been stabling his team at Te Rapa with M. Stew'art, horses trained by both are now’ bracketed, where they are in the same events. Selections are:— 10.45 a.m.—Melville Handicap: Sir Andrew, Pacing Pegasus, Contractor. 11.30 p.m.—Victoria Handicap: First Division: Indian Belle. Galladora. Willie Roger. Second Division: Faux Pas, Silver Grain, Maleeta. 12.20 p.m.—First Improvers’ Handicap: Brilliant Light, Lahore, Super Girl. 1,10 p.m.—Winter Handicap: Piccolo, Grand Fleet, Winston Hall. 155 p.m.—Ngaruawahia Handicap: Tantamount, Merchant Prince, Inherit. 2.40 p.m.—Second Improvers’ Handicap: King Oliver, Modern Star, Robies Direct. 3.25 p.m.—Railway Handicap: Yankiwi, Hillsborough, Bonnie Pet. 4.15 p.m.—Farewell Handicap: Gay King, Winston Hall, Grand Fleet.
