MR GORDON-WALKER

ARRIVAL IN N.Z. ON JULY 16

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 7. Mr Patrick Gordon-Walker, British Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations, will arrive in Auckland on Sunday. July 16, for a visit to New Zealand.

He recently accepted an invitation from the Dominion Government to make the visit, which will afford an opportunity for discussions on questions of mutual concern to the United Kingdom and New Zealand affecting Commonwealth relations. Mr . Gordon-Walker will reach Whenuapai by air and will be met by the Minister of External Affairs (Mr F. W. Doidge). Mr GordonWalker will leave for Wellington by air at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
